Why do I love football? People could ask this question to me. But they don't, cause they don't wanna hear long annoying stories that they don't undersdtand either. But what is so amazing about football? Here are some thoughts.
...because it's better than chess!



1. Popularity:
    It's well-known that football is the most popular game in the world. Are you asking why? The answer is very simple. Because it's the greatest thing ever invented! All that things that you can do with the ball. But not only with the balll, but also with positions, with celebrating, with following the team... with everything.  If this game weren't so exciting, it wouldn't be watched by hundred milions of people. Football is everywhere. In England, Ghana, Togo, Columbia, Vietnam, even sometimes on Slovakia. In every state, in every city, on each place where is ball.
...because it's better than chess!



2. History:
    I'm sure, everybody knows that the football comes from China. :) Long long time ago there were first primitive games where you had to get something (ball) to some place (net). Other players was supposed to defend you. Step-by-step football has got on this kind of level. Now, there are many rules, which makes football likeable. For better motivation there are some competitions. In 1930 was first World Cup and I'm glad this is still playing. Moreover english FA cup as the oldest cup ever. The football was (and always will be) played all around the world. And that's obvious.
...because it's better than chess!



3. Favourite team:
    It's always good to have a favourite team. Usually people are fans of their local clubs. But if you are my case (when you are born in some fuckers town like Ružomberok without any indication of football) you need to have favourute club. It should be the one that you like the most. Not because they are winning the trophies or everyone likes them. You should be sympathized by the club, and stay with them whatever happens. Your friends are laughing at you? Fuck them and wait for the moment when you win some trophy, or better when you win against their team. Then have no compassion. Let them know you are the best!
...because it's better than chess!

4. Favourite player:
    Alongside favourite team, you should have a favourite player. Someone, who makes you happy when sky are grey (OGS). When you play football with your mates on the street and as usual it's self-commented, you can shout "XXX scoreees! He is the best in the world!" And he is with you everywhere. You cannot make an e-mail with your own name? Use his! And everyone will know that you love him. When you look matches where he plays, you focus just on him and wish if he could score! If he does, it's something awesome! Everytime when he gets a ball you are wondering what he's gonna do. If you have something (T-shirt) With him, it's your favourite thing. You wear it everywhere. Simply it's great if you have some ideal. 
...because it's better than chess!



5. That beautiful moments:
    when your team win a game by last-minute scoring, when your team get to the final round, when your team win the trophy, when your player scores an important goal. There is not much to write about. You need just live through this!

6. Experiences:

    Somewhere I've heard that football is better than sex. I couldn't agree more. You cannot feel this everyday. Matches are usually on Saturday and waiting for this is amazing. Thinking about upcoming match helps you to get better results in the job or school. There is reason to live. There is something what you looking for during whole week. If you can get straight on the mazch you are the luckiest guy. To feel that atmosphere and be one of the crowd. All dressed in one colour, all singing same chants, all following one club! You feel like you can help the team to win. And if you are really really lucky, you get the unforgotable match when your team is loosing and several minutes later, you are jumping of happiness that is boiling inside you, because your team have won the match! Next few days you're thinking about it, and then you're just looking for another match! Well, I LOVE THAT KIND OF LIFE!

7. Gettin' joy:
    Wherever you are, it makes you happy. If you want to, or not. The football is everywhere! At any place you can just take piece of something, put it down and start kicking. You need to improvize, but it is easy. If you really wanna play, you can play! 
...because it's better than chess!



8. Never-bored:
    All that things fill your empty time. You would be definietly overbored from doing nothing. You will never get sick of football. If you have enough of watching, then go play! And vice versa.  There is always something to admire. 
...because it's better than chess!



9. United for football:
    The most important thing is, the football keeps universe together. People all around the world are united for football, whether it is World Cup, or local contest. All those people want to play or watch football. Yeah, it's true there is a big rivality between some teams, but football brings also that kind of things. Without this I would fuck football. On the other hand when you stand against big, angry, fat rivals, don't forget there is other hundred of lads, who wannna kick their ass too. You've got something same or similar, and your club keeps you together...
...because it's better than chess!


So stay united and LOVE FOOTBALL!!!
